COAST

A new colour way to keep me interested. I used KraftKolour Landscape dyes for this one. Pacific, Saltmarsh, Tasman, Wheat and Mallee. All full strength. If you buy Saltmarsh, make sure you stir it and stir it, all the while cackling like one of McBeth's witches. It takes a while to dissolve properly but it's a divine pale green.

Autumn elsewhere.

My wisteria has gone crazy this year with the added rainfall. I'm thinking of hitting the dye shed to get these colours!

Meantime of course, I am reminded that it is autumn elsewhere. I stared at some photos on flickr of foliage in Vermont, USA, and this is what I came up with.

Show Ready

Getting ready to send stock away with Rae. She is on her way to Rockhampton leaving Sunday. My house looks like a bomb of textiles has gone off. I have batts, laps, wool, silk, beads, yarns......Drying on anything that stays still long enough to be a clothes horse. It was dark yesterday that none of my photos of scarves came out. So, it's outside soon to try again. Bri liked my flower, and I loved the scarf made from Pilgram, The circes are old blanketing.
This is a scarf made from Persian carpet.
