I'm a textile artist living in Warrandyte, Melbourne, Australia. I have three girls, 20, 16 and 10 yrs and am married. I dye merino and silk fibres for The Thread Studio primarily, but also work alongside Rae from Raesrags, attending shows, forums and teaching workshops. I'm on the left, Rae in the middle and my youngest girl Bella in Tassie last year.
I took off Saturday for Jamieson to set up camp on the banks of the Goulburn river. It must be the only place in Victoria not in flood. Came back today to a full load of emails, then I realized I didn't actually let anyone know I was going....
What a gorgeous place Jacinta. I am pleased to hear you are back safe and sound though. Dreadful goings on down your way now. Up here has been just madness, can't believe what has transpired. River still up over a lot of the place here. Cheers for now, and happy 2011.
